Memorial Stadium 300th Consecutive Sell Out Coin. Celebrate the longest ongoing NCAA Consecutive Sell Out Record! It all began with Bob Devaney, who was instrumental in bringing Nebraska Football into the national spotlight. With his spirited approach to coaching, he brought excitement and excellence to the program that is still experienced today, as Nebraska continues to add to the longest consecutive home sell out record in NCAA history - a record that started in 1962 when Nebraska took the field to play Missouri on November 3rd. On September 26th, 2009, Nebraska marked the 300th consecutive sold out home game when Louisiana-Lafayette came to Lincoln to play the Huskers. We remember and honor the tradition Bob Devaney began back in 1962 with a commemorative coin, an exact duplicate made from the same dies as the coin that was tossed just prior to the game on Sept. 26th. This 2" diameter coin is minted out of solid brass, and was designed and produced right here in Lincoln by Nebraska football fans. It comes packaged in an air tight, clear plastic case. Get your duplicate coin to help remember the 300th game milestone as we continue to add to this record with each home game played, and sold out, at Memorial Stadium, Lincoln, Nebraska.
